I pick other things over him and oftentimes I put him in the corner because I know he'll still be there. I really need to make a point in choosing him, and not focusing on the world and what it offers...it's easier said than done though when you're 21 :)Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07294348935826618524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501996593127787714.post-20215537780451467262011-03-02T16:32:28.363-06:002011-03-02T16:32:28.363-06:00I want to choose Him always! We use the word "love" in contexts where it really doesn't (or shouldn't) apply. Our true Love needs to be reserved for the Father, and we should give thanks to Him for the Blessings of this world.

Have a Blessed Day Jenifer!Phather Phil Malmstromhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13381497588682411499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501996593127787714.post-85688980096848118722011-03-02T12:21:09.843-06:002011-03-02T12:21:09.843-06:00Your scripture and post today has caused some deep...Your scripture and post today has caused some deep introspection. We do indeed worship many things in our material world. I am going to ponder on these thoughts; thanks for sharing this.
Blessings to you! If I put everything thought, action and desire through that little test, "Can I love Him with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength and do this, think this, or watch this" really weeds out the things that do not please God. A great thought for today.
Tonight I teach my "Today's Christian Girl" class, 10 - 14 year old girls and we are going to be talking about this and the way we dress. Because that is what the world sees, we need to present our bodies holy and acceptable before God. An interesting study.
Hugs, CindyCindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05984727854409721822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501996593127787714.post-82063856868475872302011-03-02T10:50:09.551-06:002011-03-02T10:50:09.551-06:00Great reminder of what truly should be our focus. ...Great reminder of what truly should be our focus. I can relate to this " We love Christ, but we desire approval from man." This is one God seems to always be reminding me.
