Victorian Hotels and Fuzzy Socks

I am not a fan of drama, especially in a public setting such as Facebook. Recently there was drama on Facebook among friends.  Normally I am able to turn my head and ignore it.  But on this particular day the drama made its way to my post, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with me.

Continuing to count my blessings for 2012:

18. Side work for my husband when his job is slow.
19. My baby sister coming to watch our kids for the weekend.
20. A night of fun, fellowship and laughing so hard my stomach ached.
21. The sweet prayers of a dear friend that brought me to tears.
22. A wonderful pastoral staff to work along side.
23. Great plans and expectations for our church in 2012.
24. A beautiful Victorian hotel and all the history that was there.
25. A night away with my wonderful husband.
26. Sitting on the bed and talking to my kids about our weekend.
27. The gentle yet strong presence of God on a Sunday morning.
28. Fuzzy, warm slipper socks.
29. Sunday afternoon naps with my son laying in my arms.
30. Watching my son play guitar hero and really get into it.

What are you praising God for today?

Sweet Blessings~

  2. Oh, friend, FACEBOOK drama! I've been the recipient of public "scolding" which made me feel like I was back on the 3rd grade playground. There is a time and place for everything, but FACEBOOK is not the place for much of it at all.

Great list today! #29 ~ It simply doesn't get better than that!

Have a wonderful day, sweet friend!

  3. I do love my Sunday afternoon naps! :)

Sorry about the FB drama. It's so unfair to get caught up in something, isn't it? I hope it's resolved itself by now.

    Have a great week!

  7. Oh no! Seeing FB drama (or Twitter drama) just makes me feel like an awkward preteen all over again. Hope it all blows over!

  8. I am praising God for the opportunity to KNOW him and to be filled with His spirit.
I am also very thankful for a husband who is so gentle, kind, generous and loving.
    Hugs, Cindy
