One Word 2015 {MONTHLY UPDATE - NOVEMBER}

So, I planned on udpating about my One Word for 2015 every month. But I realized I haven't done so since April. Oops. Since this year is quickly, a little too quickly for my liking, approaching an end, I thought it was time to update you on my One Word and see how you are doing with yours.

How have I been doing with my One Word over the past 7 months?

1) Drinking water - I have really good days and really bad days. My goal for this was to drink 80-100 ounces of water a day and only have soda on the weekends. Most days I do hit my target of 80-100 ounces of water. I carry one of my Tervis tumbler -I just love my Tervis tumblers!- with me every where I go and I only put water in them so this helps. However, I do have soda almost every day. I do not drink as much as I used to, but I am still drinking it. I would love to get back to drinking soda only on the weekend, or at least not every single day. I would love your prayers for this.

2) Living Water - I am still doing well in this area. My goal was to, in addition to my morning quiet time with God, have a quick devotion in the afternoon and then again right before bed. There was about 2 months when I skipped the afternoon and evening devotions, but I was able to get back on track with it. For my afternoon devotion I bounce back and forth between She Reads Truth and Women Living Well reading plans. At bedtime I write down one thing I am thankful for and read the  Duck Commander Devo. My kids and I got back to doing a morning devotion. We had gotten away from that for awhile. Currently we are doing Max Lucado's One God, One Plan, One Life: A 365 Devotional.

Your turn friends! Now that we are at the end of the year, how have you done with sticking to your One Word, New Year's Resolutions or goals? Are you still at it? How have you struggled and how have you succeeded? How can I pray for you? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments.
