TALKING TO JESUS {GIVEAWAY}

Have you ever wondered what it must have been like for people in the Bible to actually sit down and talk to Jesus face to face? To be able to reach out and actually touch Him? How amazing it must have been! Has prayer ever been hard simply because you can't actually see Jesus? Or maybe you struggle with prayer because you don't feel your words are eloquent enough?

We know prayer is important, but how can we really lay down all our ideas and defenses and just talk to Jesus?

In her new book Talking to Jesus, Jeannie Blackmer says, "I'm a big believer in prayer. To me, prayer is not fancy words said in a tongue twisting manner. It's not a well thought out speech that would impress anyone listening. It's not a formal act practices only in the sanctuary of a church. It's not praying formulaic prayers asking for blessings. It is simply talking to Jesus anytime, anywhere, about anything."

Simply talking to Jesus anytime, anywhere, about anything.

That's all prayer is. Why do we make it so difficult?

If you are struggling in your prayer life, or maybe your prayer life is non-existent, Talking to Jesus is for you. Jeannie gives a fresh perspective on prayer with 21 devotions. Each devotion has reflection Scriptures and observation questions. Talking to Jesus is going to help you learn how to really talk to our Father.

  5. I struggle with feeling selfish when asking for blessings in my life. I have always wanted to get closer to God, but I don't know exactly how! This would be awesome. God bless everyone!

  6. It was really interesting to read the other comments. It is comforting to know I am not the only one who struggles. My biggest struggle is staying focused and not letting my mind wonder to other things while I am talking with God. I start talking, and next thing I know I am planning the dinner menu.
