ALL THE THINGS I SAY TO GOD

Prayer can be a hard concept for children to grasp. They don't understand talking to Someone they cannot see, Someone who won't answer back in the same way a parent or friend will. Yet, our children need to understand that they can pray to God any time and any place.

Abby learned that she can talk to God all the time. It didn't matter where she was or what she was doing, she could talk to God. She learned she could ask God questions and tell Him about her day.

She learned that she can thank God and she even learned that when she prayed, she didn't have to talk at all, but she could listen for God.

Prayer may seem confusing to our children, and even to adults sometimes, but it doesn't have to be. We can teach our kids how good and easy prayer is. We can teach them when and how to pray. We can teach them all the things we can say to God.
