BRAVE GIRLS {GIVEAWAY}

This world is becoming a pretty scary place for our little ones. There is so much violence going on, so much uncertainty, gender lines being crossed, it is just downright scary to think of what our little ones will face as they grow up. This is why it is vital to teach them about Jesus and to give our little ones Godly role models to look up to.

The Brave Girls series is a perfect tool for your little girl. Hope, Glory, Faith, Honor, and Gracie give our girls examples to model after and will help your daughter discover how to be a brave girl for Jesus.

In the new installment, Brave Girls 365 Day Devotional, the brave girls will help your own brave girl discover that the closer she gets to God, the more He makes ordinary girls strong and courageous! Learn with them how to be brave at school, at home, in sports, with friends—pretty much everywhere! Even when struggles are big . . . He is bigger.

This devotional includes a year’s worth of readings with amazing stories from Scripture, lots of fun quizzes and illustrations, and powerful truths such as:
I always have the power to love others because God loved me first.
I can talk to God about anything, whenever I need to!
God loves me for who I am, even when I’m different from everyone else.
God can use someone small like me to do big things with Him.

Brave Girls 365 Day Devotional is perfect for girls 6-10, but honestly I think it's a great thing to begin even a little younger and could easily be enjoyed by an 11 and 12 year old.

Beautiful You {Giveaway}

Everywhere our daughters look, the world is telling them that they need to be better. Magazines, tv, movies, books, radio, it is literally everywhere. They are told they aren't thin enough, don't have the right hair, don't have the right chest size or waist size, don't dress right, should be more feminine, should be more sporty, should wear more makeup, the list is endless. Our girls, our beautiful girls are made to feel like they just aren't good enough.

What they hear, see and are made to feel, that isn't truth. The truth is that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. They were made by the loving hands of the Creator of the entire universe.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
marvelous are Your words, and that my soul knows very well.
Psalm 139:14

Our girls need to understand that they are beautiful exactly as they are. They are enough exactly as they are. They don't have to change who they are or what they look like. God created them, loves them and wants them. Sometimes us moms need to remember this too. It's time we accept ourselves and help our girls accept who they are.

The brand new Brave Girls Beautiful You Devotional helps tween and teen girls appreciate themselves and who God made them to be. Whether they are shy or outgoing, a tomboy or girly girl, silly or serious, tall, short, light skin or dark, God made them exactly the way they are.

Brave Girls

I have never thought of myself as brave. I am shy and quiet and will do almost anything to avoid conflict of any kind. I don't want to rock the boat and I don't want to draw attention to myself. No, brave is not me.

Once I became a mother, I deeply wanted my children to be brave. How can I possibly teach them to be brave, when bravery is the last thing that describes me!?

The answer is simple: by the Word of God.

I have to dig into His Word and find out who I am in Him. That no matter what happens, how much I mess up or how goofy I look doing it, He still loves and treasures me. No matter what hardship I face, He is there. I can be brave in the Father because He always has my back.

Am I brave now? Not really, but I am getting there. It is something I have to intentionally work on. Am I teaching my kids to be brave? You bet. By guiding them to the Bible and the brave examples God gives us.

Be #strong and #courageous #tommymommy #bravegirls
