UNSHAMED

My family loves going to the Christian bookstore. Loves it. Every single one of us can literally spend hours in a Christian bookstore and not regret it. I remember one visit to our local Christian bookstore as a young teenager. My parents purchased a cassette tape of Christian comedian Chonda Pierce. As soon as we got into the car my dad popped the cassette into the player and we listen on the drive home. Oh the laughs! I have loved Chonda ever since.

If you haven't heard of Chonda, let me tell you friend, she will have you laughing so hard you can't breathe one minute, crying and saying amen the next. Chonda has faced quite a life. She openly shares her experiences and channels them into positivity, bringing laughter to audiences around the world.

Chonda's newest adventure is a new movie, Chonda Pierce Unashamed, and it's in select theaters Mother's Day weekend. Chonda meets with Danny Gokey, Mike Huckabee, Michael Tait, Jeff Allen, and the Benham brothers. They talk about living unashamed for Jesus Christ.

This Mother’s Day week grab your mom, sister, daughter, girlfriend's, pastor's wife, all the ladies, and enjoy a night of laughter and truth as only Chonda can deliver. Chonda will make you laugh and think as she boldly proclaims the truth of the Gospel to a hurting world. Only Chonda can communicate deep and meaningful truth and make you laugh at the same time.  Chonda is unchained, unrestrained and UNASHAMED!

Unashamed {Giveaway}

The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory {Romans 3:23}. We also know that all we need to do is repent of our sin and we will be forgiven. But sometimes our sin comes with shame. Sometimes we feel shame not only from our sin, but from our self image or how others make us feel. Shame is all around us. Shame can be crippling.

In her new book Un-Ashamed, Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom From Shame, Heather Davis Nelson shares that whether shame is related to relationships, body image, work, or secret sin, we all experience it at some point. While it manifests itself in different ways, such as fear, regret and anger, it ultimately points us to our most fundamental need as a human being, redemption. Heather invites us to not only be healed of shame, but to be a part of the healing for others.

Un-Ashamed helps us to see that Jesus gave of Himself so that we can have a shame-free identity.

Are you dealing with shame? Are you trapped and need an out? Check out Un-Ashamed, Healing Our Brokenness and Finding Freedom From Shame. Heather shares authentically as she shares how to find freedom.
