My Favorite Verse

Today I just wanted to share with you a few of my favorite verses.  These are verses that have pulled me through the hard times and lifted me up.  God speaks to me through these verses every time I read them.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

"I lift my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

"The joy of the Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped." Psalm 28:7

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:16-18

These are just a few of my favorites.  Comment below and encourage us with your favorite verse.

Sweet Blessings~

  5. I like John 3:16. It tells us just how much God really loves us. This verse tells us the whole story. He gave His Son so we would have a place in heaven if we just believe in His Son Jesus Christ. Who else would give their son for this sinful world knowing he was going to die.

  6. Wonderful choices Jenifer!

    I'm also partial to Matthew 11:28-30 :
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

    Have a Blessed Day!
