Miracles

What is a miracle?

Dictionary.com describes miracle as this:
mir·a·cle  –noun - an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

Do you believe in miracles?

My sister was talking to a fellow nurse at work recently.  Her husband, a police officer, went to Joplin, Missouri in the days following the tornados.  He was told of a six year old boy caught in the horrible twister.  This little one was at Walmart and after the storm, he was found inside of a truck toolbox.  When asked how he got inside there, he said a man with wings put him in there.

Got goosebumps?

People think miracles are a thing of the past.  They only happened in Bible times.  Let me tell you friends, miracles happen every day!  I want to have my eyes open to see His miracles.  I want to praise Him for what He does.  What miracles have you witnessed?

Sweet Blessings~

We are studying miracles at church so stay tuned for more exciting stories of what God does!

  1. So many people think miracles happened only in the Bible but I know for a fact there are still miracles happening today. I get bumps everytime I think of a miracle happening. God doesn't forget about us at all. Thanks for telling the world about this miracle. Blessings to you.

  4. Yes, I have seen many miracles, but the biggest one was when a 70 foot tree went down out back and I prayed, asking God to help us with it. A couple of days later, the tree was back up, huge rootball back in the ground, ground not torn up at all! That led to a chain reaction of smaller miracles during the time my dad was dying of cancer. Too much to tell here but trying to put it all into a book:)
    YES, miracles still happen today!:)

  5. I know miracles still happen today. Sometimes we are not aware of them because we get too busy. And I believe God wants to use us to be a miracle for someone else.

  6. What a fantastic story Jenifer!

I've been witness to a number of obvious miracles, however I also believe we're surrounded by "little" miracles every day should we choose to see them. :-)

    Have a Blessed Day!

  7. I believe in miracles! I've heard of others big miracles but I have only experienced the everyday miracles in my life. Like those moments in worship or complete surrender, I know I can feel him standing right next to me.
