Word Filled Wednesday

"Therefore encourage one another and
build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
1 Thessalonians 5:11

We all need encouragement from time to time.  Today, take a moment out to call, visit, send a card, or something to encourage a friend or neighbor.  You never know what they are dealing with and how your sweet smile or kind words will bless them.  Encourage someone today.

Sweet Blessings~

  1. Jenifer, loved your word for word filled Wednesday! This is something I need to do more often. I've been out of work for a while, and I feel like all I've focused on is myself and pushing everyone else off to the side.
This was something that I needed to hear today.

    Thank you.

You have a lovely blog. Have a great day!

    Love always,

  2. Hi Jenifer. Lovely post. We should all reach out especially when we feel the need to be reached out too. God will bless us for it.
Have tea with a friend lined up for tomorrow, think she needs to vent.
    God bless
    Tracy

  4. The best way to avoid a pity party is to focus on someone else. I want to reach out and encourage others as you have so often encouraged me, Jenifer. Love ya!

  7. What lovely words and a great reminder that we should always encourage one another. There is a girl in my Bible study that stood up and told her story of faith and hope in the midst of a very chaotic season, her words have me such encouragement and hope that I wanted to tell her that but since I didn't know her I felt a little weird about. A few weeks ago I saw her in the parking lot of the library and I flagged her down flailing my arms like some crazy woman, I was so nervous I could barely get the wrods out but I told her how much her story touched me, she said thank you for saying that it was reassurance to her that God was using this storm she is in to touch someone else. If someone encourages us we should always remember to let them know how much their words meant to us.

    Blessings to you Jenifer.
