Jenifer Metzger : One Call Away

I normally do not blog on Saturdays but I wanted to tell you about a book I just read. Normally I do not like biographies, I am a fiction love story kind of girl. However, when I saw this book, it did spark my interest. Brenda Warner is the wife of Kurt Warner, NFL quarterback. I love Kurt's public stand of faith. Kurt was on ABC's Dancing With the Stars and was very careful of his dances and how close he was to his partner in order to honor God and his wife. I love Kurt and Brenda's public stand.

So I decided to read One Call Away, a memoir of Brenda. I truly enjoyed it and could not put it down. Brenda's life was not an easy one. She had many hardships and faced deaths. But her faith stayed strong. She went from being a single mother of two barely getting by to being a married mother of seven and New York Times best selling author. Kurt and Brenda have a foundation called First Things First that is dedicated to impacting lives for Christ.
