Servicemen and Corn Stalks

This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and it really has me thinking of the ways God has blessed me.  It is a privilege and honor to live in the Unites States of America.  And I am grateful for an entire weekend to thank God and our service men/women.  Today I am continuing to count the wonderful ways that God is blessing me.

316. Service men and women, past and present, for their service and sacrifice.

317. The families of our service men and women who are left at home waiting on their loved one.

318. The privilege of living in the United States of America.

319. Being able to talk to a dear bloggy friend on the phone for the first time.

320. Making plans with her for exciting things to come.

321. A reminder from a friend when I became busy and forgot to do something very important.

322. A fun Woman to Woman Facebook party to get to connect with women all over the world.

323. A sudden rain storm that was much needed.

324. Sitting around with my family on a Friday night.

325. Lunch with friends.

326. First swimming day of the summer.

327. Swimming with family and friends.

328. Medication that helps when a headache comes on.

329. My parents having a weekend out of town on their motorcycle, but coming home safely.

330. Corn stalks growing tall.

What are you praising God for today?

Sweet Blessings~

  1. You made me cry with #329. I know that you worry when we go out of town on the bike...especially on the Memorial Day weekend...but God is faithful. I know that your prayers are continual when we are on the bike and I so appreciate them. I love you!

  2. So many wonderful things to be thankful for. Things a lot of people take for granted and never once thank the service men/women and their families for what they are doing for us. That corn is really getting tall isn't it?

Blessings to you and love you!

  4. I love your list of things to be thankful for. I keep a list too because otherwise I'd see less, and I want to live eye wide open. Thanks for sharing!
