How The Lost Get Found

For several months God has been speaking to my husband. He's been giving my husband a great passion and burden for the lost. For those who are not walking through the church doors. For those who are lost. My husband made a decision to answer God's call to reach out and seek the lost and broken. So with an accountability/ministry partner and armed with the Word of God, they set out.

Not all who are lost are going to come through the doors of your church. And since they are not coming to the church, we need to go to them! We need to be the church inside out. We need to step out of our comfort zones and reach those who are lost.

Recently my brother, and someone who is ministering along side my husband on this new journey, put it like this:
As believers, God has given us two different job opportunities. We can either work in the Spa Clinic a mile from Heaven's gate, serving those that are waiting to enter Heaven. Or we can work at the Rescue Clinic sitting one inch from hell's gate, saving the lost from an eternity of pain and suffering.
We need to reach out to those close to the gates of hell and minister to them. They are lost. The lost need Jesus. The broken need Jesus.

Yes, there are broken people even inside the church! I fully know and understand that and even see it regularly. But, praise God, they are in the church! Now we need to reach the broken people who are not in the church. Everyone needs Jesus.

There will be people who do not agree. Who do not understand your reason for going out. Don't let that stop you. The lost need you. They need you to bring Jesus to them and plant the seed in their heart. You may not see that seed harvested, but you will be planting a seed. The Word of God tells us this:

So is the word that goes out from my mouth;
it will not return to me empty
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11

The lost need to be found. Will you be the one to help them find their way?
