Mother's Day Blessing

When I was pregnant with my first child, I begin immediately praying for her. I had no idea at that time that I would have a daughter but I prayed for every part of her life. And I still do.
Our children need our prayers. Whether they are kids, teens, adults, parents themselves or still in the womb. We need to cover them in prayer. No matter their age, there is a war being waged for them every single day. A praying mother is vital for that war. There are so many areas of life that our children need prayer. Health, relationships, education, future (or current if they are married) mate, character, integrity, and the walk with God, just to name a few. It's not just your job as their mother to pray, but it's your privilege to pray.
As you fold your child's laundry, pray for them. As you make their school lunches, pray for them. As clean the bathtub they bathe in, pray for them. As you drive past your adult child's home, pray for them. As you see their picture hanging in the all, pray for them. There are so many opportunities you have each day to pray for your child. Use them.
Be a praying mom and cover your children in prayer continually. It works.
