Atlas Girl

As we enter those teen years we begin to search for ourselves. Find out who we really are. For many, the search continues into adulthood.

Sometimes we think we find who we are, only to discover we are not content. So the search begins yet again.

We continue on this long path of finding our self. Yet, life isn't about that. It's about discovering who God created us to be.

Discovering who #God created you to be. #atlasgirl

To find who God created us to be, we don't have to search very far. We simply have to turn to the Father. Let Him guide us to be all He has created us to be.

In her new book Atlas Girl, Emily Wierenga, shares her story of leaving home with the plan of never returning. Broken by many hardships in life, she was searching for herself. Little did she know, her search would lead her right back home.

She says:
I find God in the melted s'mores and the watery Tang and the walks by turquoise water. In the slip of a wrist in skipping stones, in the rise of a mountain, in the swim of an outhouse door and the sound of an axe cracking wood and the little boy asking "Da?" when a squirrel chatters.
The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:13, You will seek Me and you will find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

Emily's story is a beautiful journey. Check it out HERE.
