Get Instant Access

Last week my son changed the passcode on his phone. He decided to use a word instead of numbers. Either he misspelled the word or mistyped the word because he couldn't get into his phone. He had several failed attempts. Then I had several failed attempts. Frustrated, we finally decided to just turn the phone off and wait until morning. Morning came, we still couldn't get into the phone. Eventually, the phone disabled itself. After spending 45 minutes on my phone with the company and doing many steps on the computer, we reset the phone and he had to start all over.

We live about 30 minutes from our church. The road we take to get to church loses cell service. Every. Single. Time. It can be so frustrating to be in the middle of a call and lose the connection. Or trying to send a text message and it won't send. One time my car broke down and I was so worried I wouldn't be able to call anyone because I wouldn't have service. Thankfully, I was just inches away from that invisible line that cuts us off.

So much of what we do these days has steps to gain access. Passcodes to phones and tablets, log-in information for online accounts, losing cell service, it can all be a pain.

Get Instant Access...to God.

There is one thing that we have instant access to every single time. No passcode required. No email addressed needed. No security questions to remember. No dropped singles. No waiting for a machine to boot up. No hold times with 80s music playing. We just get access. That instant access is to the Father.

He's there. He's with us. He's listening. He's holding us. We can go straight to the Father whenever we need to or want to.

Today, go to Him. Go straight to Him without waiting. He's there.

  1. I am so thankful for God's 'instant access.' No passwords...no special codes...just call on His name and He's there!!!
