Words Matter

Words matter. The words we say matter. The words we write matter. The words we read matter. And the words we think matter.

We need to be careful of the words we let enter our heart and mind. To do this, we need to be careful of the things we watch on tv or in movies and the things we read, whether in a book, magazine or online. We also need to be careful of the words that come out of our heart and mind via our mouth.

...For out of the abundance of
the heart his mouth speaks.
Luke 6:45

Hawk Nelson has a song called Words. One line of this song gives me chills every time I hear it. It says, I wanna speak Your love, not just another noise. I don't want my words to be just noise. I want to speak intentionally, I want my words to be life, love and truth.

Examine your words. Are they just noise or are they pointing someone to Christ?

I have an obsession with letters. When I say obsession, I mean border line crazy obsession. I love words and I love letters. Especially monograms. There are M's literally all over my house.

Because of my extreme love of words and letters, I was beyond excited about Dayspring's Letterpress Blocks. These letters are gorgeous! You can order words or phrases already done like, hope, Jesus loves me, blessed, grace and much, much more. You can also build your own words, which is so fun to get the blocks personalized with your last name. Or you can order sets. They have 2 sets, Everyday Words and Inspirational Words. These sets come with 15 letters that let you make more than 10 words. Take a peek a few of mine:

Normally the Everyday Words set or the Inspirational Words set are $119 each, but right now you can get each set for only $50! That is an amazing deal! The Letterpress Blocks make an amazing gift or add just the right touch to your home. You can change them with the season or change them as your mood changes.

I am having so much fun playing with the letters. There are so many options that it's hard to decide where to keep them. I think I will just keep playing with them!

  1. I definitely needed to hear this. Last night, my husband told me I was just blabbing on, so I guess I need to be more careful with my words and not use so many. I like all your letters.
