LITTLE HOUSE HOMECOMING {GIVEAWAY}

My husband and I love older TV shows and movies. We like to find the entire series, whether on DVD or streaming, and binge watch. Last year my husband found the entire series of Little House on the Prairie, a show I've always loved, so whenever we have some time, we lie in bed and watch the Ingalls family.

There is something so special about Little House on the Prairie. It's wholesome. It's about faith, family, love, and community. It's about watching a father discipline his children gently in love. It's about watching a community come together to take care of each other. It's everything good. And what makes it even better is that it's real. It's about a real family and real community.

Fifty-one years ago Little House came out and it is still watched and loved all over. I am thrilled to share about the Little House Homecoming, a journey that brings together members of the original cast and generations of fans in a shared tribute to love, hope, and belonging.

This documentary is hosted by Dean Butler and Alison Arngrim as a virtual cinema event that allows us to experience this special homecoming from the comfort of our own home. We travel through the different museums and see cast members like Karen Grassle (Caroline Ingalls), Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder), Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson), Charlotte Stewart (Miss Beadle) and Wendi Lou Lee (Baby Grace). I will say that I was disappointed that Melissa Gilbert, (Laura Ingalls herself), and Melissa Sue Anderson (Mary Ingalls) were not in the documentary. But it was so wonderful to see the rest of the cast, including two of Michael Landon's children -Michael Landon Jr and Leslie Landon- and Victor French's children -Victor French Jr and Tracy French.

Watching this documentary shows just how much of an impact Little House on the Prairie had then and still has today. I loved watching this documentary and I know you will too.
