Shalom.
Shalom, simply put, means peace. Peace is something we all crave. Last night my husband and I went on a walk and our youngest son came along. As we made our way through the trails with leave falling all around us, we talked about peace. My son told us that peace is something he wants in his life so badly. We all do. We want chaos and confusion to end. We want drama and heartache to cease. We just want to experience peace.
The truth is, even when life settles into a nice routine and we find love and laughter, we never truly find peace until we find God. God is Jehovah Shalom, the "Lord is peace."
The brand new Peace of God Bible helps us discover and experience God's Shalom, God's peace, throughout each page of the Word.
Features include:
• Book introductions to help reveal the part peace plays in each book of the Bible
• 365 devotionals based on a key verse or passage to guide you in how to receive and live by God’s peace
• 365 peace notes offering short, powerful insights to help you understand more deeply the wholeness you have in Christ
• Topical indexes to help you study on your own how God's peace can shape different relation-ships in your life
• Articles explore what the peace of God is, how to find or recover it, and how to experience eternal salvation because of what God has done for you
• Concise concordance and index of features
• End-of-page translators’ notes and cross-references
• Line-matched, double-column typesetting
• Clear and readable 9.5-point NKJV Comfort Print

I have been loving this Bible, especially the peace notes splashed all throughout. This is a great Bible if you are looking for a new Bible for yourself, craving peace, or wanting to gift a Bible.
