REVIVAL CAMP {ILLUSTRATED FAITH}

I have always found Bible journaling as a beautiful form of worship. It helps me to slow down and really focus on what I am doing. Yet, I haven't done it for a couple of months. That's why this month's Illustrated Faith kit was perfect for me!

The Revival Camp Kit is the third and final kit in the Revival Camp series that teaches us to enjoying exploring God's Word, just as we explore His beautiful creation.

IFKITOFTHEMONTH

Take a look at all of the beauty in this kit in this unboxing:

Each kit comes with:
1 camp sticker
3 2"x2" embroidered patches with cloth bag
1 washi tape
1 4"x6" sheet of clear stamps
1 sheet of acetate Shapes
1 sheet of diecut pieces
3 devotionals
1 enamel pin
1 surprise 'Trail Mix' from Shanna
1 thank you card from Shanna
Packaged in a box with pink tissue and sticker

The praise devotion asked the question "Are you stuck in a praise rut? Maybe there's a style of praise you haven't tried in a while (or ever) and it's time to break out!" While I do not feel stuck in a rut, I certainly haven't done Bible journaling in awhile and that question was confirmation to me to begin once again! I am so excited get to back into journaling. This creative form of worship helps me not rush through my time with God and helps me to focus a little more.

While I have done Bible journaling in my Bible, I prefer to do so in my quiet time notebook. I love the blank pages to do whatever I want with. The devotional cards in the Revival Camp Kit fit perfectly inside my notebook with plenty of extra space. Here, I added a prayer, answered the discussion questions, added some fun washi tape, and used the stamps.

All of the Illustrated Faith Bible journaling kits are perfect for your Bible, quiet time journal or notebook, planner, or anywhere really. To pick up your Revival Camp Kit just click HERE.

GOALS {ILLUSTRATED FAITH}

It's the time of year when we focus on new goals. We set our One Words, New Year's Resolutions, and the like, all to prepare to better ourselves. My One Word for 2018 is joy. I am excited to focus on being more joyful this year and getting back to the joy of His salvation.

The brand new Illustrated Faith kit is out and is focused all around Goals. Shanna gives eight specific areas for goal setting: wisdom goals, hope goals, faith goals, prayer goals,  kindness goals, peace goals, home goals, health goals. Each area has a devotional card with not only a short devotion, but questions and a Scripture verse to pray over and meditate on. Shanna encourages us to "...celebrate the good, and ask Him to transform the rest. Here's to a new year of fresh beginnings and new #goals!"

When I first heard the theme of the kit, I wasn't sure if the kit would apply to my One Word. However, it totally does! Joy can be found in seeking wisdom from Him, in the hope of the Father, in living by faith, in praying and growing in my prayer life, in being kind as the Father lavishes kindness on me, in the peace I have from knowing God, in creating a joyful and worshipful attitude in my home, and in striving to be healthy so that I can do the work He has called me to do. I can't wait to dive into this kit and learn about finding joy in these areas.

The Goals Kit includes:
1 clear stamp collection
1 roll washi tape
1 thank you card from Shanna
2 sheets translucent stickers
6 tip-ins
8 devotional cards
1 plastic holder

Session 1 - #Wisdom Goals
Session 2 - #Hope Goals
Session 3 - #Faith Goals
Session 4 - #Prayer Goals
Session 5 - #Kindness Goals
Session 6 - #Peace Goals
Session 7 - #Home Goals
Session 8 - #Health Goals

No matter what your One Word is or what goals you set for this year, this kit is going to help you get a good, solid start. Pick up your Goals Kit today! Just click the image below.

ILLUSTRATED FAITH ADVENT

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love every single thing about it. Some of my favorite days are days the kids and I bake cookies, make hot cocoa, and snuggle in with a Christmas movie.

Up until four or five years ago, I had no idea what Advent really was. While I grew up in a Christian family who loved Christmas and celebrated the true meaning of the day, Advent was foreign to me. When I finally did research on what it really means, I started to get excited to celebrate Advent. It has become one of my very favorite things to do at Christmas time.

This month's Illustrated Faith kit is all about Advent. In fact, that is what the kit is called! This Advent is such a fun kit and is going to be the perfect addition to the holiday. In the Advent kit, Shanna Noel, creator of Illustrated Faith, and her friend Ali invite us to join them with eight devotionals (one every three days) to read and reflect during the season of Advent. Then, there are fun tools in the kit to help you illustrate what you've read and reflected on. Shanna says, "Grab some hot cocoa and your Bible and let's rejoice in this season together!"

The devotions include:
1 - Promise
2 - Covenant
3 - Anticipation
4 - Prophecy
5 - Expectation
6 - Royalty
7 - Light
8 - Fellowship

The color scheme and abundance of hot cocoa make this kit so much fun. I can't wait to add each piece to my Bible, journal and even my agenda planner.

Each kit includes:
1 clear stamp collection
1 roll of washi tape
1 thank you card from Shanna
1 package of paper pieces (13 pieces)
2 sheets of translucent stickers
8 advent devotional cards

Advent begins Sunday, December 3rd and ends on Christmas Eve. Advent is perfect to do in your daily quiet time or as an additional time in the Word later on in the day.

My favorite thing is to do Advent as a family. Get each of your kids a spiral notebook, you can find them for around $0.25 at Walmart. Read the devotion together and talk about it. Then share your Advent kit supplies. Encourage your kids to write out something from the devotion that really meant something to them or a prayer, then have them illustrate their entry with the stickers, stamps, washi and paper pieces. It's going to be so fun to see what each person creates in their entry! I cannot wait for December 3rd to begin Advent with my family.

WEEKLY GRATITUDE LIST & ILLUSTRATED FAITH

#eucharisteo, #joydare, #thanksgiving, #thankfulness, #1000gifts,

Continuing to count God's sweet blessings...

2285. Our home.

2286. Our jobs.

2287. Warm blankets on cold evenings.

2288. Hot chocolate.

2289. Fire & fellowship with church family.

Share something you are praising God. I would love to rejoice with you.

On this day of counting our blessings, I want to share the brand new Illustrated Faith kit with you. The Gratitude kit is such a great addition to counting our blessings and is perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving season.

Shanna Noel, the creator of Illustrated Faith, encourages us in documenting how great God is with the Bible journaling tools provided in the Gratitude kit. This devotional kit offers ample space each week to note your thoughts as you reflect on your personal relationship with Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, as well as the Bible and the reasons we are thankful for His Word. A full month to be intentional in expressing your heart of thankfulness. Shanna says, "Our God is so GREAT, let's document that together with HUGE doses of thankfulness!!"

The devotions:
Week 1 - Father, Thank You for Who You Are...
Week 2 - Jesus, Thank You for Who You Are...
Week 3 - Holy Spirit, Thank You for Who You Are...
Week 4 - Thank You God for Your Word...

I love the devotional cards this month because they have great space for writing out thanksgiving for God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. As you write your thanksgiving, you really get to dig deep into your heart and think about ways you are thankful for each member of the Trinity and or the Bible.

The journaling cards give you prompts for listing things you are thankful for. Things like creativity, food, smiles, children, music, colors, rest, and reading. I love pausing to count my blessings each week and this helped me to really focus on certain areas. I don't always think about being grateful for smiles, but I was able to pause and really praise God for the smiles of my children and how my husband loves to make me smile. Or to think about reading and praise God for His Word, for the devotionals I am blessed to follow along with and even for the fiction books I read for fun.

Each kit comes with:
1 clear stamp collection
1 roll of washi tape
1 thank you card from Shanna
2 sheets of translucent stickers
3 acorn-shaped tip-ins
4 devotional cards
4 journaling cards

This kit is so great for this time of year and will truly bless you as you begin to show gratitude to our Father for all of His goodness. Pick up your Gratitude kit by clicking the image below.

ILLUSTRATED FAITH

I love studying God's Word. The more I study, the more I love It. The more I love It, the more I want to study. The more I study, the more I love. It's a beautiful cycle really. I guess you could call me somewhat of a Word nerd.

That's what this month's Illustrated Faith kit is all about! The Word Nerd kit is for those who love studying God's Word, want to understand the Word better, and enjoy expressing all they discover in the Word with colors and creativity. This totally describes me! I love to study the Word, I deeply desire to understand it more, and I love color so much! Does it describe you too?

In the Word Nerd kit, Illustrated Faith creator Shanna Noel takes us on a journey through different Scriptures as we read and mediate. She encourages us to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truths through His Word that will empower us to live differently.

There are 4 weeks and 4 different devotional and journal cards. Each card gives a brief devotion. At the end of the devotion there is an action, either questions to ponder or something to do. Then the journaling card has a Scripture to look up with space to write out our thoughts, what we feel God revealing to us, questions we have to mediate on, or our prayers.

The 4 weeks of devotions are:
Week 1 - Hello my name is... {John}
Week 2 - Total Recall {Joshua}
Week 3 - Set Free {2 Timothy}
Week 4 - Food for thought {Psalms}

The kit also includes some incredible journaling supplies for your Bible, journal, planner, or the journal cards that are included.
1 clear stamp collection
1 roll of washi tape
1 thank you card from Shanna
1 package of paper pieces (29 pieces)
2 sheets of translucent stickers
4 devotional cards
4 journaling cards

Some of my favorite items in the kit are the stamps and the washi. I love washi so much! There are so many great uses for it. If you need ideas, just search "washi tape uses" on Pinterest! I love adding washi to my journal pages as well as my agenda planner for a pop of color as well as an inspirational message. The clear stamps are so fun because you can mix the ink colors for a colorful pop, then you can stamp a little for a subtle pop or stamp a lot for a bold pop.

The Word Nerd kit has been so fun to play with as well as so inspiring as I dive into the devotions. If you love studying God's Word or if you are brand new to studying, this kit is for you. If you are a seasoned Bible journal-er or you are hesitant to take the plunge, this kit is for you. Click the image below and pick up your Word Nerd kit today.

CREATED TO CREATE {ILLUSTRATED FAITH}

Today I want to share 2 incredible new Illustrated Faith kits from Dayspring.

The first kit is the new monthly kit, Created to Create 2. I will be honest with you and tell you that when I heard what this kit was, I wasn't too excited about it. I haven't done much Bible journaling the past couple of months. I am not artistic at all, so while I enjoy the Bible journaling kits from Illustrated Faith, I felt like my journaling wasn't good enough. I listened to the enemy tell me that I wasn't made to do this, it isn't for me, and I wasn't good enough. I spent more time erasing and tearing out pages in my prayer journal to start over than I actually spent doing the journaling. So, I just set it aside.

And then this kit came.

In Created to Create 2, Shanna invites us on a four week journey of discovering who we are in Jesus. We, I, am unique and special, and we have God-sized plan designed especially for for each of us. My journal doesn't have to look perfect. It doesn't have to look like Shanna's journal. It doesn't have to have perfect lines and drawings. It just has to be me. It's my worship to God, the One who created me to create, for Him. Shanna says, "Today I ask that you put down all the 'I can'ts' and pick up the 'I cans!' Maybe you are creative in how you put colors together, or how you see the world, whatever it may be—creativity is inside of you!"

Friends, you were created to create. And if you are more like me and cannot draw well, Illustrated Faith's kits are perfect. The stickers, stamps and washi help add color and design without having to be a perfect artist.

The devotional prompts are:
Week 1 - in the beginning God created
Week 2 - We are the clay He is the Potter Isaiah 64:8
Week 3 - beautiful in His time! Ecclesiastes 3:11
Week 4 - You are created to create Timothy 4:14-15

Each kit includes:
1 clear stamp collection
1 roll of washi tape
1 thank you card from Shanna
1 package of paper pieces (22 pieces)
2 sheets of translucent stickers
3 heart-shaped tip-ins
4 devotional cards
4 journaling cards

This kit is so much fun and such a great reminder that we were created to create.

The second kit I want to share with you is dear to my heart. It's the Faith > Fear kit. I've shared a few times that my daughter left for college this year. With her leaving, I have struggled with fear. Fear of all the what ifs. What if she forgets to turn her coffee pot off and burns her apartment down? What if she gets in an accident? What if classes, homework and her job are too much for her? What if, what if, what if. Fear grips my heart.

Then God firmly, yet so gently, reminds me to have faith in Him. While I cannot be there to protect her and take care of her, He is. I can have complete faith that He is with her every moment.

In the Faith > Fear kit, Shanna Noel uses some of her favorite Bible journaling must-haves to help us linger longer in the Word and document our faith. Each piece reminds us to have faith in our loving Father.

Included in the kit:
3 cardstock sticker sheets, 136 stickers
1 clear sticker sheet, 19 stickers
35 die-cut pieces
1 roll washi tape, 36'
1 tip-ins booklet, 24 pages - 12 designs

Lastly, I want to share a Shanna's favorite watercolor set. I have never used watercolors for Bible journaling so I am thrilled to get this set and begin. This set comes with 12 pigments and a brush and it's all in a cute little compact tin. These watercolors are Bible safe!

Pick up the Created to Create 2 kit, the Faith > Fear kit, and Shanna's favorite watercolor set today and illustrate your faith!
