For many, this verse seems like a pass to getting absolutely whatever we want. Like if God were a genie in a bottle. But the truth is, when we are truly delighting in the Lord, our desires become His desires. No longer does a big screen tv seem to be the desire of our heart, but seeing our neighbor saved is. No longer does a brand new boat seem to be the desire of our heart, but blessing strangers is.Take delight in the Lord. Let your desires form into what He wants. His desires are far more rewarding than anything we could want.
