A Fresh Outlook on Cooking

Before you say, "Whoa, now, I don't need any cooking tips!"  Bear with me for just a minute!  I want to share with you something God gave me this week while making dinner for my husband and kids.

Sweet Blessings~

  1. This is terrific! I always pray for my family as I fold/iron their clothes, but for some reason it never occured to me to pray while I was cooking--maybe because I always feel so rushed. We always have dinner together around the table and talk about sharing! WOW! Sometimes, with 5 girls sharing, it's hard to get a piece of "sharing" in edgewise. ;)

  2. Really good message, Jenifer. You know I'm one of your friends who doesn't like to cook. :) But when I do cook, I want to incorporate prayer into my preparation time. Thanks for sharing this.

  3. I can see you, but I can't hear you! Something is wrong with my speakers...I'm sure whatever you're saying is really good though :-)

  4. This was REALLY good and something I will try to start remembering to do. I don't enjoy cooking but maybe this will make it a little more bearable ;)

  5. Wow Jenifer, first a radio star and now video? This was wonderful! :-)

I love to cook.. In fact, Shannon jokingly tells people that the meal I made for her on our second date "sealed the deal". LOL I love the idea of incorporating prayer into the meal preparation! I already see cooking for family and friends as an act of love, so prayer works into it beautifully.

Thank you for sharing this with us, and have a Blessed Weekend!
