Grateful

Grateful for a day to celebrate thankfulness.

For delicious food and wonderful family to eat with.

A hungry bunch
Grateful for the dog that ate all of the pumpkin cookies when no one was looking.

For, even though today marks the third year we lost grandpa, we had so many wonderful memories of him.

Grateful for all of the Sweet Blessings readers and friends.

For the work of the cross, salvation and my friendship with Jesus.

I pray you all had a blessed Thanksgiving yesterday.  But now that it is over, let's not lose the attitude of gratefulness.  What are you grateful for today?

Sweet Blessings~

  1. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving, Lisa. Gratitude definitely needs to be a way of life...not just a day we celebrate. Grateful for so many blessings as well!

  3. Of course the obvious. I'm thankful for my salvation and my family. But I'm also thankful for the bad times. Because it was a chance to truly see how much God loves me when He brought me through. God bless you all.

  5. I'm grateful for the abundance of leftovers. Not just the food from yesterday, but all the blessings that overflow from one day to the next. Blessing upon blessing, grace upon grace.

  7. I am so grateful for our church family! It is one thing to have our own relationship with the Lord, but then relationship with God's people is so important, too! I know I can't make it without them. I love the church family.
It looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I'm so happy for you. The dog ate the pumpkin cookies? Hmmm...there's a story there, I am pretty sure! =)
    Hugs, Cindy
