Oh Ye Of Little Faith

I have been reading the Bible in 90 days and today I was in Joshua. As I was reading about all that God did for Joshua and the Israelites, not to mention Moses, Noah and so many others, it really touched my heart.  You see, God parted waters; a giant river (the Jordan) and a sea (the Red Sea).  He completely separated these huge bodies of water for His people.  Absolutely no one else in this world could ever possibly do that.  Period.

If God can move the mighty waters so that His people can cross on dry land, why do we doubt He can provide for our needs?

If God can turn water into wine, raise the dead and cast out demons, just to name a few miracles, how can we doubt that He will heal us when we are sick, deliver our loved ones from addictions, or provide food when we have no money?  Friends, whatever you are facing, I mean whatever it is, no exceptions, God is there.  He can provide.

You may not be able to see a way in your human eyes.  But our God is mighty.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for assurance about what we do not see."  Hebrews 11:1

Never stop praying.  Keep on believing.  Have faith and never doubt our big God.

Review and giveaway:

Recently I signed up to receive the Eternal Encouragement (formally Teach Magazine) email newsletter.  Since receiving the email newsletter, I have been truly blessed.  The articles are always timely, which I know is a God thing.

When I received this past email newsletter, I was dealing with the blah feeling. I had been sick and was just feeling very blah, for lack of a better word.  I opened the email newsletter and there at the very top was a beautiful and encouraging statement that brightened my day.  It reminded me that beauty didn't come in a bottle or box, but that beauty was within.  I needed to hear that on that particular day.  See?  A God thing!

This giveaway is for everyone!  Yep, that's right, if you want it, you get it!  Simply go to Eternal Encouragement, as soon as the window opens, there will be a pop up asking you if you would like to sign up for the email newsletter.  Just fill in the information and wait for the next issue to make it to your inbox.  If you know someone who could use some encouragement, send the link to them as well.

I received this product free from Eternal Encouragement for review.

Sweet Blessings~

  3. It is so 'human' for lack of a better word to count all God's blessings and then not trust him for more today!

  8. Thank you Jenifer, for this inspiring and encouraging words. It's so nice to speak well of God. We sometimes think very little of Him. And when I read your blog I will feel all warm inside. He opens a path through the sea, He will guide us through our possibilities and impossibilities.

    In Dutch is a poem:

    Zoek Jezus veel.
    Zoek Jezus vroeg.
    Wie Jezus heeft,
    heeft genoeg

    Seek Jesus often.
    Seek Jesus early.
    Who Jesus hath,
    hath enough.
