Word Filled Wednesday & Big Announcement

Please join me over at Woman to Woman for a BIG announcement!

"You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.  Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.  Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled." Titus 2:1-6

The Word tells us to invest in others.  To come along side them and encourage them and teach them.  Who have you invested in recently?  A daughter?  Neighbor?  Co-worker?  Who can you lead to Christ by the example of your Godly life?  Who has invested in your life?  Take a moment to thank them and pray for them.

We were not meant to do this life alone.  We all need encouragement.  Reach out.

Sweet Blessings~

  1. Wonderful thoughts here Jenifer. It makes me think about how I am influencing others, and how thankful I am to those who influence me.

  2. I can't wait to read the announcement :)

  3. So sorry guys! This wasn't supposed to post until tomorrow morning. The Woman to Woman announcement will be up then! :)

  4. For SURE! "Make me a blessing--to SOMEone today..."

  5. Thank you for the reminder that we need to be intentional in our dealings with others, to reach out because as you have said here "We all need encouragement." So true. Great post!

BTW, I am a new follower saying Congrats on your new announcement. How exciting! God bless you.

  6. Thank you Angel! And welcome to Sweet Blessings!

  7. I love the term "sweet blessings"!!! Stopping by from Internet Cafe Devotions!

  8. A college girl came to me a few weeks ago and asked me to mentor her? I don't know why that scared me. I have mentored before. This girl is so strong and passionate and mature, I told her she should be mentoring me, lol! She said no to that so I said yes to her. Please pray for us! :)

  9. Jenifer, I feel like the Lord is asking me to me much more faithful for praying for my family who still does not not Christ. I have become weary. Thanks for this.

  10. Hi Jenifer - great post and great encouragement to speak into the lives of others, always bringing glory to God. Thanks for linking up sweet friend, I appreciate it
