A Savior Is All I Need

Join me at Woman to Woman for a favorite family recipe!

Hurting.

Lost.

Lonely.

Ashamed.

Guilty.

Everywhere I look there are people that are hurting, lost, lonely, ashamed, guilty, people who just need Jesus.  Even in the church.  They may go to church on Sunday and put a smile on their face and pretend that everything is okay, but inside they are breaking.  The post scriptures on social media, but they heart is shattered.  They try to laugh and have a good time, but it is not real joy.
They need a savior.  They need Jesus.

Sometimes we need to simply humble ourselves, strip ourselves before God, give up control and seek Him.  The Word tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14  "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  God wants to heal our hearts.  He wants to help us.  Turn to Him.  Seek Him.  Let Him fill you to overflowing.

He loves you.  You. Are. Loved.  Believe it.

If you are one of these hurting people, we have all been there a time or two, friend, humble yourself and seek Him.  Let Jesus hold you in His sweet embrace.

Sweet Blessings~

  2. Beautiful words. Many times the scripture in 2 Chronicles is used as a word of encouragement for the church body...I think we forget that as individuals we must do the same thing. We must turn from 'our' way and run to God!

    Great post!

  3. These are wise words, Jenifer. Until we understand our need, we won't fall on Him for help. He's ready; it's just we who are often too proud or clueless to understand. May we all stand ready to help others find Jesus and be found by Him, including ourselves.
