Summer Swims and Block Parties

Please join me at Woman to Woman Ministries for Marriage Monday.  We are walking through The Love Dare together each week.  God is doing great things in our marriages.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified
because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6

Whatever you are facing this week, whatever comes your way, remember that you do not have to be afraid.  God is with you.  He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Continuing to count my blessings in 2012:

351. My grandparent's swimming pool and the chance to swim whenever we want.

352. Splashing in the water with the kids.

353. Floating on a raft and looking up at the clouds.

354. Listening to the laughter of my children as they enjoy playing in the pool together.

355. Aloe Vera gel that helps soothe a sun burn after being in the sun all day.

356. Finishing up another incredible study with the ladies in my church.

357. Church family stepping up and working hard at our community block party.

358. My family that came out to support my church's event.

359. Connecting with our church's community.

360. Going to bed while it is still light out because that means I am finally getting to bed before 11pm for the first time in three weeks.

361. An incredible service at church.

362. Feeling the Lord's presence ushered in as we praise His name.

363. Seeing new faces in our children's ministry.

364. Having absolutely nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon/evening.

365. Going to bed early the second day in a row.

366. Being able to catch up on sleep after a very busy few weeks.

367. The Woman to Woman Magazine's summer issue.

368. My brother helping me get my husband's Father's Day gift.

369. God's amazing love for me.

370. The sweet reminder that His love never gives up on me.

Sweet Blessings~

  1. "Be strong and courageous,..." This challenges me lately. Ive been asking myself, "Do I do anything that is actually courageous?" I want to be more like Paul who was both incredibly strong and courageous! Love the Marraige Monday too:)

  2. I thank and praise the Lord that I have eyes to see my precious granddaughter and the grandchildren playing and splashing in the pool. My hearing isn't as good as it once was (smiles) but I praise the Lord and thank Him for being able to hear the laughter of the grandchildren as they play in the pool. The Lord is so wonderful.

Blessings to you and love you!

  3. Hi Jenifer - that is one of my favourite scriptures. I have stood on that many times over the years. Great reminder that God is in control.

  8. You're right, He's always aware of His kids and He never leaves or forsakes. I'm so grateful for that.
