He Is Always There

There is so much pain right now.  Yesterday I posted and shared many prayer requests on my personal facebook page.  I also read many prayer request from friends.

My friend who is battling cancer and received bad news yesterday.

Nephews battling the nasty flu that is going around, and trying to keep it from their pregnant mama.

Another friend's daughter who, after having tonsils out this week, was very lethargic and had a high fever and had to be taken to the ER.

A friend of a friend whose infant has RSV.

The nephew of a friend whose infant has been in the hospital battling fluid on the brain.

A friend of a friend who is battling cancer.

Marriages everywhere I turn that are struggling.

There is so much pain.  People are hurting.  People are fighting.  People are crying out.

Praise God!  Through the pain we have a promise that God will be right there. He knows what you are going through.  He knows exactly where the cancer is. He knows exactly what you and your spouse are battling against.  His hand is on the baby in the hospital hooked up to machines.  He is there.  We don't understand His ways.  We don't know why He doesn't just make it all go away.  But we can trust that He is there and that He has a plan.

What are you battling with right now?   Stand on the promise of all promises: He will never leave us nor forsake us!

How can I pray for you this weekend?

  2. I am very, very thankful for God's promises, especially that one. He is always with us, if we do not stray.
Have a good weekend. Hugs, Cindy

  3. That's a wonderful verse of promise, one of many. We know we have an enemy in this world and that is where all the hurts and struggles come from, but as the song goes, "greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world". Great to be reminded of these promises. God Bless
