My Soul Finds Rest

The past few weeks have been somewhat difficult for me. I go through periods where I don't sleep well, that is happening now. There has been conflict I have been in the middle of. Planning summer vacation, planning the new school year. There has just been a lot going on in my little world. It is effecting me medically. Which I recognize as God's warning to slow down and lean on Him.

So when I was reading the Bible this morning, this verse in Psalm hit me hard. It left me feeling peaceful. It reminded me to lean on God, not on me.

No matter what we are facing, we can find rest, true rest, in God alone. What are you facing today? What is troubling your spirit? Rest in Him.

  1. I think I can relate. Lately, stress and worry have been taking their toll on me, and I feel like I've been under serious spiritual attack for weeks. God led me to Isaiah 41:9-10,13 yesterday morning, and immediately I could feel Him speaking to me.
Happy to be visiting from W2W today.
    Blessings,
    Laura
