When my oldest child, now fifteen, was only a year old my husband worked two jobs.  He would leave early in the morning and when he got home in the late afternoon, he had to shower and leave for his second job.  This was difficult on our young family.  My daughter missed daddy and we all missed time together.

That is when we started Friday Night Camp Out.  It has been a family tradition ever since.  Every Friday night as soon as daddy comes home, everything stops.  It is family time.  We often have pizza for dinner, many times making homemade pizza together.  Next, we all get into our jammies and pull out our pillows and sleeping bags.  Then we pop a movie in and have snacks.  We sleep camping out in the living room together. Do you have someone in your life who is always upset? They always find the bad in things or they are always in a bad mood? It is hard to be around them I imagine. I have some people in my life who can be this way. Sometimes I think they enjoy complaining.

It is so easy to complain about their complaining and get upset because they are always upset. Responding negatively is so much easier than ignoring them, talking to them or trying to help them. Letting the steal your joy or drag you down is not what God wants and it does not help. Instead pray for them. Pray that God gives them joy!  To continue reading, please join me at Woman to Woman Ministries.
