WHY I USE A PLANNER & MY TOP THREE FAVORITE PLANNERS

Everything we do, we should do as though doing it for the Lord. This includes managing our homes, families, and lives. I want to lead my family well as for the Lord. In order to do so, I need to be organized. This is why I intentionally and faithfully use a planner.

Throughout the years I've tried many different planners and today I want to share my top three favorites. 

#3: Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner is a great planner. With it's compact size of 5.5" x 8.5" it is easy to carry and it has a monthly view, weekly view, information section, project section, and perforated shopping lists. #2: Dayspring's Agenda Planner, 7"x9", is an eighteen-month planner. It runs from July to December of the following year. So the 2019 planner began July 2018 and will run until December 2019. There is a monthly view and a weekly view as well as stickers to give your planner some pop. You can choose between five different covers and it costs $29.99.

#1: The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley comes in two editions, daily and weekly, which come in six cover options. This planner has prep work at the beginning to help you plan your year. You will think about what worked and didn't work in previous years, discover bucket list items, and come up with routines. The weekly edition, 6"x8", has a monthly view and a weekly view and is $48, and the daily, 7"x9", edition has a monthly view and a daily view, and is $58. The Simplified Planner is a bit more pricey, but well worth every penny! This is a high quality planner made with the best paper so that your pens and highlighters will not bleed through and the cover is tough and will withstand your busy year.

Another thing I absolutely love about Simplified Planner is all of the matching accessories you can get! DAYSPRING AGENDA PLANNER

In this fabulous world of technology, I am still a die-hard paper girl. I must have a physical Bible, I much prefer a physical book, and I cannot go without a paper planner. One of my absolute favorite planners is the Agenda Planner by Dayspring.

Staying organized is important to me and in order to stay organized, I use a planner, two planners in fact. The Homemaker's Friend Planner is one of my favorites. INSPIRATIONAL AGENDA PLANNERS

Between being a wife, mom, children's pastor, pastor's wife, and homeschool mom, plus mix in dental and doctor appointments, ball practices and games and everything else that comes with parenthood, or life in general, and staying organized isn't always easy. But it is something I strive for in order to keep my sanity. Nothing is worse than getting a call from a coach wondering why your child isn't at game warmups yet when you didn't even realize it was a game day or having the doctors office call to remind you of your upcoming appointment and you have no idea what they are talking about.

While everything in this world is done on cell phones and iPads, I love paper planners and have been using one for years now. Besides my Bible, I can say my planner is my lifeline. I need it. I look at it several times throughout my day to make sure I am staying on task and not missing anything. My kids look at my planner, which sits open on our kitchen counter, so they can keep up with what's going on. 

Being organized is important to me. But even more important is being encouraged and uplifted throughout my day. Because of this, I purposely use an inspirational agenda planner. As I look at my day to see what our family has planned, I see reminders that I am His, that I can do all things through Him or that I was called for such a time as this. Reminders my soul desperately needs.

The Dayspring agenda planners are 18 months long, they begin July 2017 and run through December 2018. Each month has a tab to help you separate the month out and has it's own picture theme. The tabbed page has a Scripture verse. My plan for this is to memorize the Scripture each month. At the end of the 18 months, I will have 18 Scriptures memorized! The first page of the month shows the entire month view, then the next few pages show your weekly view. I love this because sometimes you really need to see your whole month laid out and other times you need to zero in on just the week.

You will get a peek at 2019 at the end of the planner. There are also pockets which are great for holding receipts, shopping lists or notes. And the stickers! Oh I love stickers! They add that pop to help remind you of important things. The Dayspring agenda planner has stickers for things like birthdays, appointments, special days, voting and more. There are also blank stickers to add your own important reminders.
