I have been a fan of Cultivate What Matters for years. I found this company eight years ago (I believe it was) and immediately felt a connection. SIMPLIFIED PLANNER LAUNCH DAY

Today is Simplified Planner launch day! Simplified is launching their 2021-2022 academic year planners and tons of beautiful accessories. I have been a Simplified user for five years now and love this planner and this company.

The Simplified Planner comes in two editions, daily and weekly. Both editions come in six cover options; Carolina Gingham, (an updated) Happy Stripe, Dainty Dogwood, Fuchsia Chinoiserie, Kelly Green Bee, and Navy Hydrangeas. The daily and weekly planners have prep work inside that includes routines, declutter challenge, bucket list, and more. They also include blank note pages and a sticker page. Both editions have a monthly tab so that you can see the month spread. 

The pages are Mohawk Via Vellum (Smooth Pure White 70 Text), which means these pages are thick! There is no bleed through from pen, highlighter, and even markers. The covers are strong and sturdy, they will not bend and they wipe clean. Daily and weekly editions also come with a monthly coaching video to help guide you.

The daily edition has wire binding, Monday through Friday have their own page, while Saturday and Sunday share a page. The weekly edition is a little more compact than the daily with a lay-flat book binding. The weekly also has a ribbon book marker.

In addition to the daily and weekly editions, you will also find the Dapper Desk. Dapper Desk does not have the prep work and stickers, but it does have the ribbon book marker and every day has it's own page, including Saturday and Sunday. This year Simplified is launching their monthly planners! These little books are just the twelve months, not the daily or weekly views. They make a perfect calendar for meal planning or tracking workouts.

Today is the day! The 2021 Simplified Planners launch! Simplified Planners are my favorite planners for many reasons and I can't wait to share why!

This planner was built for life! The hard cover, the thick pages, it truly is meant to last. I was hard on my 2020 planner, yet it still looks brand new. I carry it everywhere with me, when I am at home it sits in my kitchen, it's been dropped and thrown, it has really had it, yet it has held up beautifully.

Thick pages! The pages of a Simplified Planner are made from Mohawk paper and are 70lbs. If you know anything about paper, you know that is amazing! No matter what pens or markers I use, they never bleed through.

WHY I USE A PLANNER & MY TOP THREE FAVORITE PLANNERS

Everything we do, we should do as though doing it for the Lord. This includes managing our homes, families, and lives. I want to lead my family well as for the Lord. In order to do so, I need to be organized. This is why I intentionally and faithfully use a planner.

Throughout the years I've tried many different planners and today I want to share my top three favorites. 

#3: Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner is a great planner. With it's compact size of 5.5" x 8.5" it is easy to carry and it has a monthly view, weekly view, information section, project section, and perforated shopping lists. The Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner is only $14.99, making it a great choice if you are on a budget.

#2: Dayspring's Agenda Planner, 7"x9", is an eighteen-month planner. It runs from July to December of the following year. So the 2019 planner began July 2018 and will run until December 2019. There is a monthly view and a weekly view as well as stickers to give your planner some pop. You can choose between five different covers and it costs $29.99.

#1: The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley comes in two editions, daily and weekly, which come in six cover options. This planner has prep work at the beginning to help you plan your year. You will think about what worked and didn't work in previous years, discover bucket list items, and come up with routines. The weekly edition, 6"x8", has a monthly view and a weekly view and is $48, and the daily, 7"x9", edition has a monthly view and a daily view, and is $58. The Simplified Planner is a bit more pricey, but well worth every penny!
